Finally a Women's Bike for those of us under 5' 5"..., January 19, 2011 By LisaMarie Urban (Edgewood, WA United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Schwinn Merge Women's Cross/Comfort Bike (700c Wheels) (Sports) i love this bike and can't say enough good things about, as I am 5' 2" and have had a lot of problems finding a bike that fits my petite frame...this is it! This is identical to L.L. Bean's "Women's Runaround Cruiser Bike", but about 1/2 the price tag. That made this an even better purchase. :-) Hope when you get this bike you'll have as much fun as I am! Just a note though, I had a good boyfriend help me with assembly, as I'm not mechanically inclined whatsoever and needed a little help putting the wheels on.

I would put better pedals on it as the factory ones are plastic but other than that it is great!

Be careful before you ridew this bike., October 25, 2010 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Schwinn Merge Women's Cross/Comfort Bike (700c Wheels) (Sports) When we received this bike I had a friend take a look at it for me since the brakes seemed to be sticking. It turns out the shock was installed backwards, not necessarily a sefty issue but it would sure efffect performance. The big problem is the front brakes were not attached to anything. That could be a severe safty issue. The bike will probably be fine now that this is fixed but shoudl never have been shipped like this.
